We have been busy recently upgrading all our contract customers to a new statistics system developed specifically for the needs of Assanka customers. The package seamlessly integrates into our site management toolkit, as an additional administration module, and gives the user instant access to a wide range of powerful analytical tools.
Included in the statistics module are the following services:
- Traffic count - hits, visits, pages, bandwidth - any measure of site popularity plotted in any resolution over any time period for ultimate flexibility.
- Length of visit - find out how long visitors spend on the site.
- Popular pages - individual pages ranked by the number of hits they receive.
- File types - which file types are most downloaded?
- Operating systems and browsers - the vital question of platform compatibility. What are your visitors using to browse the site?
- Search referrals - see which search engines deliver the majority of your traffic, ranked by number of hits.
- Other referrals - links into your site from other sites. Find out where visitors are coming from.
- Search keywords - all the search keywords and phrases visitors have used to find your site. Use these to optimise your content and drive up your search engine rankings.
- Sites linking in - a list of sites that currently link to you, even if they have not yet referred any visitors. No need to check up on your reciprocal linking agreements: this list is updated daily.
- Traffic flow map - an amazing insight into the way people use your navigation system, this graphical map shows the routes that visitors take as they move from page to page.
The Assanka statistics system provides a number of advanced features that particularly help to realise a return on investment and make our stats stand out from the crowd
Predictive graphing
Where a bar covers a period of time that has not yet finished (for instance hits for the current month), the predicted total is displayed to enable easy analysis of performance across standard time periods even with incomplete data
Flow mapping
See not only the relative popularity of individual pages or URLs, but now also the popularity of the connections between them. Our traffic flow maps give an amazing insight into the thought process of your website visitors, revealing obvious navigation improvements that can be made to speed people on their way to the information they are looking for
Search integration
Find out which sites have links to yours, even if they have not referred any traffic. See your current rankings for important search terms continuously updated. View your most successful search keywords ranked by traffic generated.
