The test questions cover a wide variety of topics, and are indexed by difficulty level and category, so you can choose what type of question you want to answer. You don't have to answer all the questions - just do as many as you think you need to demonstrate your knowledge and skill. Once you've decided to answer a question, you must either provide an answer or pass - you can't come back to it later.
Some questions may appear to be inviting an essay. They are not. A ten word answer that shows us that you understand the problem and would be able to provide a detailed solution is much better than a long rambling answer.
There is no time limit, however the time required to answer each question will be measured and may affect your score. You may use external references to assist you, however you may not copy code or text verbatim from the web in answer to any question. When you press Start test, your test session will begin, and you will not be able to pause, go back, close your browser or restart the test once started. Please ensure therefore, that you have a quiet work area free of distractions, and a reliable internet connection. We also recommend that you turn off your mobile for the duration of the test.
